Fire damages Port Barrington residence house
A Tuesday fire in Port Barrington left a house with damage estimated at $100,000.
The fire occurred on the 100 block of Center Street, and the Wauconda Fire District responded to the incident at 3:45 p.m., according to a Wauconda Fire District news release. Officials said no injuries were reported.
Battalion Chief Kevin Pyne said the home is uninhabitable.
