West Chicago 3, Streamwood 1:

Dave Kordik fired a 4-hitter with 8 strikeouts and no walks as the No. 13 Wildcats (16-17) claimed victory in the Class 4A Lake Park regional quarterfinals. They'll face No. 4 Schaumburg on Wednesday. Austin Kordik, Connor Dall and Ryan Koester had 2 hits apiece for West Chicago, which scored once in the second inning and added 2 runs in the third.

Glenbard East 11, Conant 4:

With the scored knotted at 2-2, the Rams (18-17) took the lead for good by scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the third inning in their Class 4A St. Charles North regional quarterfinal victory. Justin Griffin went 2-for-2 with a homer and 3 RBI. Joe Ritchie went 3-for-3 with 3 RBI. John Allen and Joey Moore also had 2 hits while Scott Borosak drove in 2 runs. Winning pitcher Anthony Esterly and Tyler Huber combined on the mound. Glenbard East, seeded 14th, will play the third-seeded host North Stars on Wednesday.

Hinsdale South 7, Romeoville 6:

Trailing 6-4 heading to the bottom of the seventh, the Hornets (15-14) scored 3 runs to pull out the victory in the Class 4A Downers Grove South regional quarterfinals. Dean Serritella singled home the winning run. Serritella, Don Buonavolanto, Joey Jablonski and Brian Hoel had 2 hits apiece. Jon Uba was the winning pitcher in relief of Michael Mullaney. Fourteenth-seeded Hinsdale South faces No. 3 Downers South on Wednesday.

Fenton 7, CICS/Northtown 2:

The Bison advanced to the Class 3A Vernon Hills regional semifinals. Fenton will play the top-seeded Cougars on Wednesday in Vernon Hills.

Hoffman Estates 8, Addison Trail 2:

The Blazers (11-20) saw their season end in the Class 4A Hoffman Estates regional quarterfinals. The Hawks took control by scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the second. Joe Amato went 2-for-3 with a homer and 2 RBI. Jake Atiyeh and Christian Grabowski also had 2 hits.
