Gurnee, IL, May 21, 2014: One of northern Illinois' most successful fundraising combinations joined hands once again this spring, and the result was another winning promotion. The parents' organization for Woodland School District 50 teamed up with the Domino's Pizza stores in Gurnee and Grayslake to raise $818.65 for local school projects. "Without a doubt, the pizza parties are an essential part of our formula for success, said Robbie Hudrick, Operating Partner for Chiodo Corporation, Franchisee of Domino's Pizza in Gurnee. "The fundraiser was very successful thanks to the hard work of Woodland School District 50 and FOW. We are proud of our partnership with the District and look forward to our next program in the fall."

Hudrick had a great deal of praise for everyone involved in making the promotion a success. "The students are terrific, bringing a lot of excitement and energy to the promotion," he said. "I'd also like to thank the faculty and staff for distributing information about the promotion ... and special thanks goes to Pam Horn for organizing the event, along with all the District 50 parents who helped!"

The large Woodland School District includes students who live in the Domino's Pizza delivery area in Gurnee, while others live in the Grayslake delivery area. Although the two stores are owned by different franchisees, that doesn't limit the success of the promotion. "Teamwork is an important part of this promotion," continued Hudrick. "Employees of the Grayslake and Gurnee Domino's Pizza stores deserve a hand, too: after all, it takes a lot of hard work to assure timely deliveries."
