More than 125 juried artists at Barrington Art Festival

The season of summer art festivals is officially under way: Experience all of the fun festivals bring this Memorial Day at the Barrington Art Festival, a two-day holiday event to enjoy with family and friends.

Peruse the work of more than 125 juried artists from across the country. Ceramics, photography, metal work, and jewelry are just a few of the mediums that will be highlighted at the festival.

Amdur Productions is the producer of the show in partnership with the village of Barrington and the Barrington Cultural Commission, the Barrington Art Festival.

Enjoy live music, local food fare and interactive, art-inspired activities for individuals of all ages. Kids and adults can express themselves using red, white, and blue chalk at the "patriARTic" graffiti wall to commemorate the holiday.

A still life Instagram contest and photo booth encourage attendees to "socialize" during the event, further capturing the family-friendly fun.

In addition to the art-centric activities, this year's festival will be outfitted with beer and wine gardens hosted by Francesca's Restaurant and McGonigal's Pub.

Amdur Productions, a nationally acclaimed arts festival production company for more than 30 years, has curated a selection of the country's most prestigious juried art festivals, including the Chicago Botanic Garden Art Festival, Gold Coast Art Fair and Port Clinton Art Festival.
