Watercolor mimes featured in June at North Riverside Mall Theatre

For the month of June, the North Riverside Mall Theatre will display the work of David Saunders. The art display, showcased at 7501 W. Cermak Road, will feature a selection of mimes presented in watercolor. This presentation will run for the month of June. Make sure to stop by the North Riverside Mall Theatre or check out Saunders' paintings on your way into a movie.

According to Saunders: "My paintings are a series of mimes utilizing a medium of water color. They depict a universal expression of emotions that give character to our thoughts, fantasies, hopes and fears. In this series, I have added color to these human but masked characters, engaging others in a language of silence."

A local artist, animator and published illustrator, Saunders enjoys creating "new and innovative art that is very important and equally exciting as well as pushing the boundaries of creativity and expression that will leave a lasting impression."
