Show the cost of all these investigations

Our politicians have created yet another committee. This time they are reopening the investigation concerning what happened at Benghazi. My question is not about Benghazi but rather the source of funding for these panels regardless of who initiates them or what the subject matter is.

Where does the money come from? Who (by name) is receiving this money and how much are they being paid? How many people are on the committee (including staff and outside lawyers and consultants) and what is its total budget?

I wish you would include this information in your coverage of these investigations. I think that if people could see where our politicians are spending their time and our money they might become a little more vocal with their representatives and a little more selective in who they vote for at election time.

Some issues really need to be investigated but let's have some transparency on the cost and who is really benefiting from the work.
