Antonio Solis pitched a 2-hitter with 5 strikeouts and a walk as the Wildcats (9-13) claimed the nonconference victory. Connor Dall and Austin Kordik went 2-for-3.
Wheaton Academy 1, Aurora Christian 0:
Brett Albaugh's run-scoring single in the top of the seventh provided the Warriors (10-11, 5-8) with the game-winning run in the Suburban Christian Conference. Luke Kram pitched a 2-hitter with 5 strikeouts and a walk.
Waubonsie Valley 4, Bartlett 2:
The Warriors (14-5, 10-2) pulled out the Upstate Eight Conference victory by rallying with 3 runs in the top of the sixth inning. Winning pitcher Jack Eddy, who had 2 RBI, Drew Ellam and Garret Howicz had 2 hits apiece.
Glenbard North 5, Glenbard East 3:
The Panthers (14-8, 8-4) scored all their runs in the first inning of their DuPage Valley Conference victory. Complete-game winning pitcher Luke Greenberg struck out five. Sam Ledbetter went 2-for-3 while Matt Albin and Chris Murray drove in 2 runs. Tyler Behrendt went 2-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBI for Glenbard East (10-14, 3-9).
Naperville North 6, WW South 3:
The Huskies (8-11, 4-8) trailed 3-2 but answered with 4 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to seize control of the DuPage Valley Conference game. Mark Khoury drove in 2 runs for Naperville North, which managed only 2 hits. Robert Leonard was the complete-game winning pitcher. Justin Kelly and Brian Summers had 2 hits for WW South (10-7, 8-4).
Wheaton North 2, Glenbard East 1:
Charles Robin earned the complete-game DuPage Valley Conference victory for the Falcons (12-9, 8-4), striking out three, walking one and scattering 7 hits. Zach Leander and Michael Mannix had a pair of hits. Anthony Gallina and Zach Zimmerman had 2 hits for Lake Park (9-11, 5-7).
Lisle 5, Seneca 1:
The Lions (14-9, 5-4) won their second straight over Seneca in the Interstate Eight Conference, riding a 2-hitter from winning pitcher Cliff Krause. Krause and Jake Oard went a combined 5-for-5 with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored.
Glenbard West 15, Addison Trail 2:
The Hilltoppers (14-9) claimed the West Suburban Conference crossover victory behind a 13-hit attack. Will Simoneit and Dan Rustemeyer went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI apiece. Winning pitcher Luke Peterselli allowed just 1 hit in 4 innings.
St. Francis 9, Marian Central 0:
Jack Ciombor went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI and Jake Radel also drove in 2 runs for the Spartans (15-8, 7-3) in their Suburban Christian Conference victory. Christian Kuzemka won on the mound and Jason Sullivan earned the save.
Timothy Christian 6, Fenton 2:
Winning pitcher Mike Wieringa, who scattered 6 hits in a complete-game effort, and Devin May went 3-for-4 for the Trojans (6-13, 3-10) in their Metro Suburban Conference victory.
Metea Valley 12, East Aurora 0:
The Mustangs (13-8, 9-5) outhit East Aurora 12-1 in their Upstate Eight Conference victory. Sam Hanson went 3-for-3 and Matt Fitzgerald drove in 3 runs. Sam Janus and Kyle Grask combined on the mound in the five-inning game.
Downers South 8, Downers North 1:
Joe Becht, who doubled three times, and Chris Pedrak went 3-for-5 with an RBI for the Mustangs (15-4) in the West Suburban Conference crossover. Winning pitcher Peter Hamot went the distance.
South Elgin 14, Neuqua Valley 7:
The Wildcats (12-11, 11-7) fell in the Upstate Eight Conference despite 2 hits from Nick Hilgemann, Tyler Jaeger and Alex Wolanski in addition to 2 RBI from Nolan Hicks.
Lyons Twp. 8, Willowbrook 3:
Tyler Zunkel, Jake Cady, Brian Johnson and Tucker Newling had 2 hits for the Warriors (14-6) in their West Suburban Conference crossover loss.
York 11, Leyden 5:
Kyle Coughlin doubled and tripled as the Dukes (12-11) claimed the West Suburban Conference crossover win. Niall O'Brien, Mike Homan and Brian Peterson had 2 RBI. James Pagni was the winning pitcher.
