It was good to read that there are 21 applicants for the open seat on Elgin's City Council.

I couldn't imagine why John Prigge, Terry Gavin and Toby Shaw opposed a meeting to determine which of the candidates should be interviewed, but then I remembered that these three seem to vote against everything.
