Take part in Bartlett Heritage Days button contest

Now preparing for its fifth annual Bartlett Heritage Days, the all-volunteer organization seeks a 2014 button design and asks the community to participate in a button contest.

The person whose design is selected receives a $100 prize. The design will be used in a 3-inch button that will be used to promote the 2013 event.

To receive a copy of the rules, go to www.bartlettheritagedays.com or email heritagedays@att.net. The digital entries must be sent by July 1, on CD or by email. The winner will be notified by Aug. 1, and credited in publicity announcing the new button.

Bartlett Heritage Days is an annual communitywide fall festival in designed to honor and celebrate the community's rich history. Events will take visitors back to the "good old days" when Bartlett was a farm community in the late 1800s through the present day in this village where nearly 50,000 now call home.
