Geneva library genealogy program canceled, learn about Laura Ingalls Wilder instead

Due to a family emergency, David Clark, the scheduled presenter for "Bringing Family History to Life: The Stories We Could Tell" on Wednesday, May 7 has had to cancel his appearance.

This program is one of the Geneva Public Library's Book & Bag It series. The loyal audience for this popular series will be happy to know the show will go on. They will be featuring Laura Keyes, a local librarian and researcher, in her program about Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Have you met Laura Ingalls Wilder? Not the girl from the books or the woman from the television series, "Little House on the Prairie" -- this is the real Laura Wilder. In her presentation, you will hear the authentic history of Laura Ingalls Wilder and discover the times, places and people who inspired her wonderful books.

Mark your calendars. Miss Keyes will be delighting the Book & Bag It audience with her presentation at the regularly scheduled date and time, noon Wednesday, May 7 at the library, 127 James St. in Geneva. More information is available at
