Buffalo Grove Senior Expo April 29

The 14th annual Buffalo Grove Senior Citizen Expo will be from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at The Arboretum Club, 401 Half Day Road, in Buffalo Grove.

This event, hosted by the Friends of the Parks Foundation and coordinated by the Buffalo Grove Park District and the village of Buffalo Grove, provides a dynamic one-stop shop for seniors to interact with over 70 vendors and service providers, enabling them to become familiar with the wide range of services available to them.

In addition to free samples and giveaways, there will also be a free hot dog lunch for the first 250 people in attendance, free dessert at 12:30 p.m., blood pressure screenings provided by the Buffalo Grove Fire Department, mobile drivers' services from the Illinois Secretary of State's office, hourly prize drawings, and a grand prize drawing at 1 p.m. of a 40-inch television, courtesy of the Wheeling Walmart.

The Buffalo Grove Senior Expo is sponsored by Athletico, Lexington Health Network, Radford Green at Sedgebrook Healthcare and Rehabilitation, and The Arlington Rehabilitation and Living Center.
