Obama's got it under control?

Gleaned from the news: A shipload of Syrian made surface-to-surface rockets en route from Iran to Gaza, intercepted by the Israelis.

North Korea test fired four short-range ballistic missiles and deployed a new multiple-rocket launcher that fired four missiles with enough range to reach American and South Korea bases near Seoul.

Moscow said Russia plans to use military bases in Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua for its navy and to refuel strategic bombers. This after, three months ago, Secretary Kerry announcing in Washington that "the era of the Monroe Doctrine is over." The next day a Russian spy ship slipped into Havana harbor.

China announced a 12.2 percent increase in military budget within 24 hours of the Obama administration proposing a decline in U.S. defense spending.

At the same time, President Obama went to Connecticut and Boston for a Democratic fundraiser. And then the weekend to Florida to golf.

Nothing to worry about.
