Bartlett announces street project parking restrictions

The final year of Bartlett's roadway resurfacing project is expected to begin Tuesday, April 1, with a tentative completion date of Monday, Sept. 1. The project will consist of removing the asphalt surface, patching distressed areas of pavement, placing two lifts of new asphalt, and some curb repair.

The project will consist of six different phases and residents will be refrained from parking on the street between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. when the roadway resurfacing project is taking place. Residents will receive notification if the roadway work is going to block their driveway access. No parking signs and informational signs will be posted to keep residents informed of the tentative starting date schedules.

Residents can check the village website or contact public works at (630) 837-0811 for weekly updates of the project.
