Glen Crest Middle School's Student Union took on the school year long project of working to accumulate funds for the Chicago area Red Cross. So far they have completed a Cook Book Project and A Valentine Drive. With the conclusion of their "Make A Change" fund raiser, the student body's collections have almost made it to $1,000.The next event fund raiser is a movie night planned for April. The month of May will include the final counting of the school year earnings and the sending of the total to the Red Cross. Co-sponsors Rose D'Ecclis and Kathy Mansfield are impressed that the Student Union members are still enthusiastic about the Red Cross project and so is the Glen Crest student body.
