Steel Beam Theatre, 111 W. Main St., St. Charles, will hold auditions for the comedy, "Be My Baby" by Ken Ludwig, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 24. Larry Boller directs gentle romantic comedy to open May 9. The two leads are older, but the ensemble members get to wear many hats. Also need a young romantic couple. Dialects are essential; monologue if you have one; and cold readings from script. Call (630) 248-0394 for information.

The role of John Campbell has been cast, but following actors are still needed.
