Let's recognize unsung local heroes
With all these politicians telling us how they are going to fix everything, I think it is time for a letter about some unsung heroes in our city.
Every time I see them I think, "what a losing battle." I am talking about the guys out there trying to fill potholes. I once saw a semi roll over a recent patch and pull the entire thing out and run over it.
These guys are swimming upstream and getting almost nowhere. But bless them for trying. It looks like trench warfare out there and it is impossible to miss the pot holes. But they are out there every day dodging idiots trying to run over them and working very very hard on our behalf.
Please applaud these guys for their efforts.
