Fremd High School Track and Field supports our troops

The Fremd Track and Field team is committed to team work beyond the track. They also have a commitment to teaming together to serve the community in meaningful ways.

Recently, the athletes participated in a community service event where they brought care package items and wrote personal letters of appreciation to our troops.

The team partnered with Operations Support Our Troops America, whose mission is to support the morale and well-being of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families.

In addition, Air Force veteran and local community sports coach James Lang joined the group to talk about the value of teamwork, commitment and how his experience as an athlete prepared him to better serve our country.

The athletes left the event feeling a greater sense of appreciation for the servicemen and women of our country and valued the opportunity to team together and make a difference in the community.
