March 21: The Magic of Bill Blagg LIVE! at CLC

Now known for performing large-scale illusions at venues across the U.S., Bill Blagg began his life in magic as a 6-year-old practicing his first magic tricks at his childhood home in Zion, Ill.

Blagg will return to Lake County, bringing with his newest high-energy, grand-scale magic and illusion show, "The Magic of Bill Blagg LIVE" to the College of Lake County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 21 at the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts on the Grayslake campus.

From the moment he received his first magic kit in 1986, Blagg's world was never the same. After years of endless practice and persistence, he professionally launched his magic performing career in 1996 at age 16. In just two short years of professional performance, Blagg developed a stage presence that made him a stand out in the magic community, due in part to his off-the-cuff personality and high-energy performance style.

While completing a degree in performing arts and communications at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis., Blagg was busy planning and staging his own 90-minute, grand-scale magic and illusion show he called "Beyond Imagination." After graduating with honors, Blagg took his illusion production on the road to select cities throughout the Midwest.

Critics and audiences alike rave about his incredible show that has audiences rubbing their eyes in disbelief. Blagg's show is packed with new mind-blowing illusions. Audience volunteers will levitate in mid-air, others will vanish in the blink of an eye and so much more. Blagg prides himself with being able to consistently create and stage new illusions to thrill his audiences year after year. To learn more, visit www.billblagg.com.
