Respect for life would make communities safer

Since we took God out of our schools and made abortions legal, violence and shootings have increased dramatically. Maybe it's time to put God back into the schools and stop trying to remove him from every area of our lives. For starters, post the Ten Commandments in every classroom of our schools and teach children to observe them. One of them says, "Thou shalt not kill."

Overturn Roe v. Wade. Teach respect for life at the tiniest level. Yes, a few people would be offended. But, wouldn't it be nice to return to a society where everyone could drive on an expressway, attend a school or go to a movie theater or shopping mall without the fear of being shot?

"Just say no to drugs" did not solve the drug problem. Saying "stop the violence" will not solve the murder problem.
