Search continues for missing Des Plaines woman

Des Plaines police say their investigation into the disappearance of a 61-year-old woman is continuing, almost a week after she went missing.

Debra Fredricksen was last seen in her car going through a McDonald's drive-through in Morton Grove about noon on Feb. 21. Her car was located Saturday night near Dempster Street and the lakefront in Evanston.

Family and volunteers earlier this week posted missing person fliers in the nearby Evanston neighborhood where Fredricksen lived in the early 1990s. Police are continuing to field tips at (847) 207-4576.

Authorities have said Fredricksen has no known medical condition and foul play is not suspected at this time.
