Consider this biblical view of gays

I must disagree with Gary Koca's letter in the Feb. 9 Daily Herald in which he says that God does not hate homosexuals and that there is no mention of same-sex marriages or partnerships in the Bible, either for or against.

If we go to the Bible and read Leviticus 20:13, we find that God tells us that if a man lies with another man as he does with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination, they shall surely be put to death and their blood shall be upon them.

Thus we see that God teaches us to murder homosexuals, and that is surely in effect a statement that God does hate homosexuals, contrary to Gary Koca's viewpoint. Mr. Koca then goes on to say that he rather would not be worried about this, and his bigger concern is whether the Cubs will win a World Series in his lifetime. That question depresses me because at my age, I very likely will not be around to see that come to pass.
