Waukegan announces winners of 2016 Turkey Trot

The Waukegan Park District held its annual Turkey Trot Nov. 12 at Belvidere Park. The event had 173 registered race participants and collected 10 bins of nonperishable food items that will be donated to the Holy Family Food Pantry.

First-place winners were as follows:

• 7-12 months, female: Natalie Salgado

• 7-12 months, male: Raiden Robertson

• 13-23 months, female: Kamila Ortiz

• 13-23 months, male: Ismael Orduña

• 2-3 year, female: Arely Orduña

• 2-3 year, male: Declan Lowrey

• 4-5, female: Camryn Lowery

• 4-5, male: Osvalad Orduña

• 6-7, female: Emily Farjardo

• 6-7, male: Martin Orduña

• 8-10, female: Lily Alebarran

• 8-10, male: Anthony Williams

• 11-13, female: Ryleigh Wido

• 11-13, male: Alex Orduña

• 14-17, female: Noemi Padilla

• 14-17, male: Marcos Garcia

• 18-23, male: Alex Garcia

• 24-29, female: Stephanie Robertson

• 30-39, female: Brenda Delgado

• 30-39, male: Adrian Orduña

• 40-49, female: Horalia Mendoza

• 40-49, male: Salvador Orduña

• 50-59, female: Martha Ortiz

• 60 and up, female: Maria Hinojosa

• 60 and up, male: Artemio Martinez
