Experience, legal knowledge and integrity are three of the most important factors to ensure that fair and consistent rulings are made, all of which describe Judge Marmarie Kostelny.

As a family law attorney practicing in Kane County for over 40 years, I worked with Judge Kostelny on numerous cases where she was a practicing attorney and also appeared before her while she presided over family court.

Before being appointed as associate judge in 2006, Judge Kostelny practiced in Kane County for over 20 years. The knowledge and experience she gained from working both sides of the bench, along with possessing the patience and appropriate level of compassion, places her in a matchless position that allows an impartial view of each case while utilizing her understanding of the law to make proper and accurate rulings.

As a resident of Kane County and as an attorney, I fully endorse Judge Kostelny for the position of circuit judge of the 16th Judicial Circuit. It can be difficult for some voters to decide on which candidates to vote for, but with her proven judicial track record I encourage the voters to elect Judge Kostelny.
