District 95 cuts registration fees:

Lake Zurich Unit District 95 has reduced the annual registration fees for all students for the 2014-15 academic season. The reductions vary according to grade level, but fees were cut an average $40 to $50 per student. Fees for high school pupils will be reduced from $190 to $140 per student. Middle school registration expenses will drop from $150 to $100 per student, with elementary registration fees going from $120 to $75 per student. Additionally, the fees for kindergarten and early childhood students have been trimmed from $90 per student to $50. Pupils receiving only speech services will have their registration fees reduced from $115 to $80. “The board of education is trying to keep school fees and related costs within manageable limits,” board President Tony Pietro said.
