Originally scheduled for Jan. 28, the weather conditions caused the event to be canceled and rescheduled for Feb. 4.

"We're hoping to get a good turn-out for this event, which happens only once each year," said Debbie Luetscher of Huntley Area Public Library. "We enjoy working with the other libraries to provide this opportunity for parents to gather information on 40 preschools all in one place."

The free event will be from 6:30 until 8 p.m. at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Drive, Algonquin.
