Glad to have grown up in free nation

Since the president has modified laws, bypassed Senate confirmation of controversial nominees, altered work requirements under welfare reform, expanded his war making powers, surveillance of Americans, drone strikes on Americans outside the United States (for now) and the list goes on and on of him circumventing Congress, I ask, what do we need Congress for?

Just look at the money we will save, and free up a lot of available space from empty offices, not only in Washington but all around the country where they have home offices.

Just elect a socialist dictator and let him make all the laws. Dissolve Congress and become like Russia, China or any other socialist country. If this is what the progressive democrats want, so be it. I'm just glad I was able to grow up in a free country that my children and grandchildren will never experience.
