Daily Herald report

A new Panera Bread with a drive-through lane is scheduled to open Jan. 31 on Golf Road in Rolling Meadows, according to a sign at the business.

The new Panera replaces Gino's East, which had been in the village for more than 25 years. Gino's East closed in April and work has been going on at the new Panera location since summer.
