Submitted by Learning Ascent Tutoring

Student athletes and parents are invited to a free public seminar on “What You Don’t Know about Athletic Recruitment is Costing You Money” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Learning Ascent Tutoring, 720 N. 17th St., Suite 9, in St. Charles.

Presenters Deanna Gage, owner of Aspire Soccer Consulting & Resources, will offer key strategies for navigating the college recruiting process for DI, II, III & NAIA soccer programs; and Jennifer Chapman, owner of Learning Ascent Tutoring, will review important criteria about the college academic admissions process and testing preparation.

Attendees will learn how to address both the athletic and academic requirements that college coaches want in a recruit, and determine what steps to follow each year in high school, beginning with freshman year.

Attendance is free. RSVPs are requested at (630) 740-8741.
