Mike Skarr, Wheaton Bank & Trust Director, Selected as a Member of the Metropolitan Family Services DuPage Community Board

Mike Skarr, Director of Wheaton Bank & Trust, was recently elected as a member of the Metropolitan Family Services DuPage community board.

Since 1857, Metropolitan Family Services has been empowering families to learn, earn, heal, and thrive. Their mission is to help Chicago-area families reach their greatest potential and positively impact communities. Metropolitan Family Services oversees more than 53,000 families and individuals, with 81% being lower middle class. Programs include economic stability, education, emotional wellness, and empowerment.

Skarr holds an engineering degree from Marquette University as well as an MBA degree from Lewis University. In addition to serving on the Metropolitan Family Services DuPage community board, Skarr will continue to keep his seats as President of the Friends for Lisle Township Foundation, board member of Virtual Learning Solutions, President of Not-for-Profit Strategies and Solutions, LLC, and as a member of the Naperville Heritage Society's Finance Committee.

Skarr stated, “I am honored to join the board of an organization that empowers families to succeed in life and look forward to making more positive contributions to the community.”
