Where did state tax hike money go?

Many, many kudos to the Daily Herald for its series of editorials about the corrupt manner this State allows voting districts to be manipulated. Realistically there are only two political parties in this country and each thrives on or for power. Neither party does what is good for the people.

Next, I would like to see the Herald do an article on what happened to all of the money this state usurped from the public when the legislature hiked the income tax by 66 percent. It certainly appears that none of the extra money went to lower the unpaid bills the state had accumulated or toward lowering the pension debt the legislature had allowed to grow to monstrous levels by not making the contributions the state was obligated to pay.
