Thanks for your support of ECC

Thank you.

Those two words are heard often this time of year as family and friends gather to celebrate the past year and prepare for a new one. As president of Elgin Community College, I am happy to report our year was filled with moments worth celebrating, including more than 2,100 students graduating with degrees and certificates during the 2013 calendar year. This cannot happen without our District 509 community.

Let me be the first to say thank you.

Thank you for supporting student success with your donations to scholarships.

Thank you for providing excellent learning facilities through your support of the 2009 referendum.

Thank you for collaborating with us to train a talented workforce for District 509.

ECC is one of the best community colleges in the country because of your support. Thank you for believing in the power of higher education to improve lives through learning.

Best wishes for 2014.

David Sam

President, Elgin Community College
