• A 15-year-old boy from Lake in the Hills was charged Dec. 17 with possession of marijuana, while a 16-year-old boy, also from Lake in the Hills, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. Both were arrested at Jacobs High School in the 2600 block of Bunker Hill Drive, referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and released to their parents.

• A 16-year-old boy, a 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl, all from Algonquin, were charged Friday with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and criminal trespass to land, police said. They were arrested in the 1300 block of Brandywine Circle, referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and released to their parents.
