Pop-up post office open Saturday in Rolling Meadows
Rolling Meadows lost its post office in May 2012, but had the benefit of a temporary post office last Saturday, set up to help deal with the holiday rush. The post office will return from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 21.
U.S. Postal Service employees bring a truck to city hall, 3600 Kirchoff Road, to help residents who want to purchase postage, and send letters and packages.
Mayor Tom Rooney has said he and the city’s aldermen have received many complaints from residents since the post office closed.
