Tell post office of holiday ‘oversight’

Did anyone else notice what was missing on the “holiday stamps” posters displayed in the post office this year?

There was a Kwanzaa stamp, a Hannukah stamp, a gingerbread house stamp and a poinsettia stamp. Even though you could get them if you asked, there was no Christmas stamp featured on the poster.

What’s really sad is that I don’t believe it was a mistake. When I mentioned it to the person at the counter he said, “Yeah, I thought this was a religious holiday.”

When I asked him to let the powers that be know I had noticed, was dismayed and felt discriminated against, he pulled out a form, we filled it out, and my concern was made official.

I won’t say which post office I had gone to but the posters are in every one that I have been in this Christmas season. Will you let the post office know how you feel about this ”oversight?”

Merry Christmas.
