How was texting story news?

How was texting story news?

OMG! I know absolutely nothing about Carpentersville civic issues but I couldn’t believe what I read as a “news” article in Nov. 22’s Daily Herald. (“Texts nothing to LOL about?”) Harassment? Really?

Who in Stacy Klodz’s circle has a tie to the (quote, unquote) “news media?“ How can the Daily Herald justify this as a front-page article, or even a news article at all?

I interpreted Regina Rehberg’s text as simply an attempt to point out that Klodz did not fully disclose her ties to the issue at hand. No threat whatsoever. How is that harassment? And just because Klodz tries to claim as much shouldn’t give any reputable news source cause to consider her claim worthy of press coverage.

C’mon, Daily Herald editors. You’re better than that.
