Ease tax burden with a new sports venue
A recent Saturday edition of the Herald was like a breath of fresh air. Shifting the tax burden away from homeowners, what a great idea.
Building a domed stadium would help. It could be built by selling bonds and stock. It would be used for Cubs rain days and Sox rain nights. Some 40,000 Cub fans create half a million dollars a game (needed to cancel on rain day).
The owners of the Cubs and White Sox can buy stock in it. The fans could buy stock. They would love to be involved.
Seniors would have a new place to hang out on rainy days.
This could bring in tax money. Get the new businesses involved. Make it Zurich Stadium. For a price of course.
Thanks for helping homeowners.
