Mr. President, your plan is a disaster

President Obama wants Obamacare rammed down America’s throat without a bipartisan consensus. The new law has caused political embarrassment because it’s a disaster, and the president is blaming others by saying “I was not informed directly.” Perhaps he needs to find out who did not inform him and get rid of that person.

Obamacare is a failure of colossal proportions. In order to give health coverage to those who did not have it, it has caused millions of paying individuals to lose theirs. Those who have lost their coverage as a result of the catastrophe are reeling; they are confused and feel betrayed.

Furthermore, they feel insulted by the president when he calls their plans substandard. I wonder if he believes that no plan is better than a substandard one. Mr. President, who are you to decide if individual plans are substandard? Those plans have served us well.

Now the president wants insurance companies to reinstate the substandard plans. Surely he must realize the cost to do so. The president wants to be able to say, “I did not cancel your plans, the insurance companies did.”

Mr. President, you refer to Obamacare as an excellent plan, a plan that Americans should have. Sir, if you truly believe that, you should make it a plan for you and your family. After all, it bears your name.
