Allstate declares 25 cent quarterly dividend

NORTHBROOK — The Allstate Corp. announced a quarterly dividend of 25 cents on each outstanding share of the corporation’s common stock, payable in cash on Jan. 2 to stockholders of record at the close of business on Nov. 29.

“Allstate continues to provide shareholders with attractive cash returns through quarterly dividends and a share repurchase program which has reduced outstanding shares by 7 percent this year through November 15,” said Thomas J. Wilson, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Allstate.

Allstate is the nation’s largest publicly held personal lines insurer, serving approximately 16 million households through its Allstate, Encompass, Esurance and Answer Financial brand names and Allstate Financial business segment.
