Streamwood accepting applications for citizen's police academy

The Streamwood Police Department is accepting applications for the Citizen's Police Academy until Friday, Nov. 22.

The academy will consist of 10 classes beginning Jan. 6. focused on topics such as crime scene preservation, neighborhood-based policing, traffic stops, special operations and domestic violence investigations.
