Barrington Lions Club make special donation to JourneyCare
The Barrington Lions Club made a generous donation to JourneyCare Foundation to purchase 50 Duffy Courage Lions.
Duffy is a therapeutic lion used with an accompanying book to help children who are dealing with grief or trauma. JourneyCare is looking forward to being able to use this tool to help the children they support.
Since 1982, JourneyCare (formerly Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois) has provided pain and symptom management and end-of-life expertise to young and old facing serious or life-limiting illness.
