Give winter wear to Elgin crisis center

The Elgin Fire Department is collecting winter wear for the Elgin Community Crisis Center.

The Elgin Community Crisis Center -- which provides safe shelter to women and children who are homeless due to domestic violence, sexual assault or financial crisis -- is in need of new and used adult coats, gloves, mittens, hats and scarves, as well as new or gently used bath towels.
