Mundelein advances to regional semis

Mundelein d. Wheeling: In the Class 4A regional at Waukegan, Mundelein swept Wheeling, 25-15, 25-21. Sarah Bregenzer led the Mustangs with 7 kills while Yasmeen Johnson and Emily Dunkin added 4 and 3 kills respectively. Setter Madi Wilcox rolled up 15 assists and had 4 aces. Mundelein is now 18-18 on the season.

Round Lake d. Grayslake North: In the Class 4A regional at McHenry, Round Lake swept Grayslake North, 25-18, 25-22.

Zion-Benton d. Grant: In the Class 4A regional at McHenry, Zion-Benton outlasted Grant, 25-14, 21-25, 27-25.

Wauconda d. North Chicago: In the Class 3A regional at Lakes, Wauconda swept North Chicago, 25-10, 25-6. Susan Karhoff had 5 kills, 4 digs and 4 assists for the Bulldogs while Ashley Anderson added 14 service aces and 5 digs. Wauconda is now 20-15 on the season.
