The 10th annual Palatine Food Drive is now underway with drop boxes located throughout the village to accept nonperishable food items along with baby formula and diapers for young families in need.
The drive, which benefits the Palatine Township Food Pantry, continues through Monday, Nov. 25, when organizer Lavelle Law Ltd. and other volunteers will collect items and deliver them to the food pantry.
"We feel very fortunate to be able to rally the community each year for the past decade to help serve the growing number of families in need," said drive coordinator Heather Slipkevych.
