Why I Pass-only at I-90 and Rt. 47?

Why I Pass-only at I-90 and Rt. 47?

Congrats to Illinois Tollway — sort of.

To the project managers who handle all that construction, an “A.” That is some project and lookin’ good.

To the administration — a “D” for Dumb.

Why Dumb? Check out the on/off ramps at Route 47 and I-90. Tolls are I Pass only. I went online to find out what to do without an I Pass. For better clarification, I called. When I finally got a person to talk to they informed me that all you had to do is go online and find out how much you owe and how to pay. You had seven days to comply.

There are all sorts of rumors of various businesses coming to the northeast section of that intersection when construction is completed. One was even “Cracker Barrel.” So how many people will pull off from their trip when they see I Pass only?

If Huntley wants to attract business, especially in that area, they should look into how business traffic will be generated. Certainly not from the tollway under the current conditions. I guess that Nikos building will stay vacant.
