It’s essential to stamp out heroin

I applaud DuPage County Coroner, Dr. Richard Jorgensen, in his current campaign to make people aware of the rapid expanding use of heroin and other related drugs in this county, especially by our children. Drugs are rampant in all schools in this country and many times the educators wish to overlook it or sweep it under the table and ignore it.

The DuPage County Board and all school districts should combine in a task force to stamp out this plague, by our children especially.

Unfortunately, the many deaths triggered by the use of these drugs extend not only from schoolchildren but to adults as well. It would seem to me that a major effort to stem the tide by education and whatever would certainly save all taxpayers in DuPage County. Implementing a logical, understandable and pertinent campaign in this direction seems absolutely mandatory.
