GOP catering to the radical few
It seems that Speaker Boehner doesn't understand the concept of leadership, and he and his Tea Party Republicans don't understand why they were elected.
Representatives we send to Washington are expected to govern. That is not an unreasonable expectation. In addition, they don't seem to know the difference between a bill presented for their passage, or not, and a law that has been enacted -- and upheld by the Supreme Court.
We should expect them to be working for the American people -- common good.
The fear of losing a position by catering to the radical few is not leadership and is certainly no profile in courage.
