Women report sex assaults in Benedictine dorm

Two women reported that they were sexually assaulted last week in a Benedictine University dormitory, Lisle police said.

The women told police the assaults took place Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Lisle college. The women were taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville, where Lisle police talked with them.

One of the women was a Benedictine student and all of the men involved are students there as well, police said.

Several men believed to be involved were interviewed at the Lisle Police Department.

The situation remains under investigation, and no criminal charges have been filed. Police reports will be sent to the DuPage County state's attorney's office, and they will determine if charges will be filed, police said.

Benedictine officials declined to comment, saying it's an active investigation
