Fundraiser Saturday for Schaumburg’s Prairie Center

The cultural surroundings of Schaumburg’s Prairie Center for the Arts will add a unique and festive flavor to “Celebrate the Arts 2013” — the annual fundraising party hosted by the Prairie Center Arts Foundation from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21 at 201 Schaumburg Court.

Partygoers can swing over to the main stage for the big band sounds of The Gina Knight Orchestra, listen and groove to the The Rob Nordli Jazz Quartet, or enjoy the all-American voice of Dana Alexandra while Playback kicks up classic rock mixed with a bit of country.

There will be food from many area restaurants. Fancy cocktail attire is recommended.

Admission costs $55 in advance and $65 at the door. Tickets can be ordered by calling (847) 895-3600 weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., or by visiting prairiecenter.org.
