Medinah sex offender arrested on charges of failure to report address change
A convicted child sex offender was arrested Friday for not reporting his change of address, DuPage County Sheriff’s officials said.
James Heath, 50, formerly of Medinah, was charged with one count of failure to report change of address as a sex offender, which is a felony, authorities said.
It’s the second time Heath has been charged with failing to register as a sex offender.
Authorities say Heath failed to notify the sheriff’s office that he was no longer living at his registered address in Medinah.
Heath was taken to the DuPage County jail and is currently being held on $75,000 bond.
