Join Autumn Wine Walk Saturday in Barrington

The merchants in downtown Barrington will host an Autumn Wine Walk 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, to kick off the fall shopping season by introducing shoppers and visitors to the unique stores and restaurants in Barrington.

The Autumn Wine Walk will offer free wine tastings and treats. Twenty shops and eight sponsoring restaurants and wine merchants are participating. Customers can begin the Wine Walk at any participating business by picking up a location map for the tasting. Participating stores are:

타 Village Center Merchants: Acacia Organics, Angelina, Barrington Flower Shop, Bravura Home & Gift Shop, Grassroots, Mia Sorella, Notice, ReDeFind, The Annex and Urban Flair.

타 Lageschulte Street: Norton’s U.S.A. and the Pink Geranium.

타 The Ice House Mall: Jewel Food will offer tastings for Solisq Accessories, Tina Han Gallery, Barrington Cultural Arts Center and Once in a Blue Moon. Chessie’s will be serving wine on behalf of Savvy Spirit, Tommy Terri and Tootsies.

The wines for Saturday’s event are being provided by Heinen’s Fine Foods, McGonigal’s Pub, The Annex, Grassroots, Ciao Baby, Jewel-Osco, Cooper’s of Barrington and Chessie’s. 

“This is a chance for residents and visitors alike to visit the unique stores and specialty shops that are found only in Barrington,” said Anne Garrette, event and marketing coordinator for the Village of Barrington. “The merchants are pleased to use this event to highlight the fall shopping Season in Barrington.”
